Easy Baked Potatoes

Surprisingly I made baked potatoes at home for the first time ever this last week! I wanted a quick dinner so I grabbed some steaks out of the freezer and was looking for something to go with them. I figured potatoes couldn't be too hard so I decided to give it a try. Not only were they super easy, but delicious as well!

4 large russet potatoes
Butter
Sour cream
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Fresh chives, sliced
Bacon, crumbled
Olive oil
Kosher salt
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Rinse and dry potatoes, then coat with olive oil.
  • Season with kosher salt and wrap in aluminum foil.
  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes, until soft when poked with a fork.
  • Remove from oven, unwrap, and slice open.
  • Top with desired toppings and enjoy!

Don't want a traditional baked potato, what other toppings do you like with yours?
Chili cheese baked potato? Taco baked potato? Baked beans? Pulled pork? Cheesy broccoli? The options are endless!
